Brilliant Presentations
Financial Times Prentice Hall 2007 by Richard Hall.
THE “how to” book on presenting. Decide first of all where you stand in the hierarchy of presenters – are you novice or star? Strangely few make it beyond “craftsman” and very few are brilliant.
Focus on 5 things:- The context of the presentation (more presentations are screwed up by the presenter not understanding exactly why they are doing it), the story, adding colour, evidence, drama to the story, the slides (illustrating the story),powerful delivery of the whole thing. And don’t ignore “follow through” – it aint all over just because you sat down.
If this book doesn’t set you up as a hugely improved presenter you aren’t paying attention.
To be published in Romanian.
